We had a busy weekend across the Doors Open Day weekend.
Our main focus was Shops through our new ‘Falkirk’s Shops’ Exhibition in the Howgate. We were also joined by Lindsay Lennie, Scotland’s leading expert on the history of shops. Lindsay gave a talk about the history of shops before leading a walk exploring examples of old shops in Falkirk.
For the younger generation we had a ‘Let’s Build’ drop in LEGO event near the exhibition in the Howgate. This was very popular and it was great to see some of the historical and new buildings the children created. We will be doing this again for Doors Open Day 2017 and hope to see you there!
