IMG_04622014 was the Bicentenary of our town Steeple. This project was an opportunity for local schools to have fun learning about Falkirk Steeple – when it was built, how is has been used and why it is an important building in the town. Primary 6 or 7 pupils worked with artist Susheila Jamieson, investigating the history to the Steeple through artwork. The pupils created artwork that represented the Steeple in the past and explored the importance and role the building has played in the town. Find out what the schools have been doing on the project blog and have a look at the photo gallery below.

The completed artwork was displayed in Falkirk town centre as part of the Steeple Bicentenary Celebrations in September 2014.
